Discover one of the best attractions in the Dominican Republic on this 8-hour tour to the Blue Lagoon and other beautiful places from Puerto Plata, Sosúa or Cabarete.
Once the tour guide picks you up at your hotel in an air-conditioned bus, you will head to a small town called Gaspar Hernandez, enjoying the scenic route and the beautiful views of the tropical landscape.
Upon arrival, you will walk for a few minutes with your tour guide through the city and learn about the customs and way of life of the locals.
Then will continue to a plantation where agricultural products such as cocoa, coffee, mangoes, bananas and coconuts are planted and harvested, some of them for export.
Enjoy tastings of coffee, coconut, honey and other tropical fruits.
We will continue to the city of Rio San Juan where we will cross the Gri Grí lagoon aboard a boat until we go to the sea where we will visit a cave where Golondrinas birds live, the natural pool then will dock at a majestic beach called Caleton where we will be for about an hour.
Then will go to the El Saltadero waterfall, which has a drop of about 45 feet, there you can also swim if you wish.
Finally we will visit the Blue Lagoon, this is a tropical paradise, where you will have the opportunity to swim in either of the two lagoons and also visit the caves where the first inhabitants of this island called "Tainos" lived.
Right next to the entrance to Blue Lagoon we have the restaurant where we will have lunch, it will be a buffet with delicious typical Dominican food.
Then we will be ready to return to the hotel.
You will have included transportation with air-conditioned, a tour guide, entrance fees to all the places you will visit, boat, lunch and drinks all day (Water Bottles, Rum, Coke and Sprite)
